ASCENSION CHURCH IN KOMARINO

The first church built in the village of Komarin was closed in 1935. Religious life here resumed only in the 1990s. of the last century, when it was decided to rebuild one of the civil buildings into a temple.

Traces of reconstruction can still be seen in the appearance of the Ascension Church. It is a squat five-dome building with a galvanized roof. It is believed that this is the southernmost temple in Belarus.
